Christ Hospital Health Network has wrapped an eight-figure expansion project at an ancillary campus in Butler County.
The $13 million, 8,800-square-foot addition to the Christ Hospital Medical Center-Liberty Township site expands the facility’s Family Birthing Center, a move officials said will provide greater access for women seeking obstetrical care in Greater Cincinnati.
Christ Hospital first announced the project in October 2025, marking its second major investment in the campus in recent years. The health system in September 2024 wrapped a $20 million, 17,800-square-foot expansion that doubled the hospital’s MRI and CT imaging capabilities. It said there had been an increase in demand for cardiac, orthopedic, cancer, and women’s diagnostic and health screenings.
Likewise, Christ Hospital said the birthing center project addresses a growing community need. The number of patients at the birthing center has increased. That portion of the hospital debuted when the Liberty Center campus first opened in 2018.
Christ Hospital made eight new hires as a result of the expansion. It employs 356 at the Liberty Township campus.
