Developer plans $131M industrial park in Fairfield

An out-of-market developer will greatly expand its industrial presence in the Cincinnati market with a new project in Butler County.

Kansas City, Mo.-based NP Development filed plans with the city of Fairfield for the Butler County Trade Center. The five-building industrial park will total 1.29 million square feet. It will sit on 140 acres, known as Jacquemin Farm, located on the south side of Tylersville Road between Seward Road to the east and Ohio state Route 4 to the west.

Construction costs alone are expected to exceed $130.7 million, according to city documents. Tenants are expected to be in the e-commerce, general distribution and manufacturing sectors. NP Development forecasts 530 employees and $22.3 million in new payroll from the park at full buildout and occupancy.
