Project Summary
Fairfield Logistics Center is a new Class A speculative industrial park located on Seward Road at the border of the City of Fairfield and Fairfield Township. The two jurisdictions worked together to establish a Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) to faciliate development of the Fairfield Logistics Center project and related improvements to Seward and Tylersville Roads.
Construction of the first two buildings in the multi-phased project was completed in 2023, creating 800,000 square feet of modern industrial space. Maersk and Allen Distribution were among the first tenants. At least one additional building is planned for construction.

Impact
The total investment for the project exceeded $61 million. The developer anticipates more than 400 jobs and nearly $18 million in annual payroll will be created in the new buildings. The development creates new revenue from both the City of Fairfield, Fairfield Township, and the Fairfield City School District.
