Construction begins on Village North development with Whole Foods location

Construction has begun on the Village North mixed-use development that spans 49 acres across West Chester and Liberty townships.
“Good things happen to those who wait. It’s been frustrating at times. This is a very complicated project,‘’ said Mark Welch, West Chester Twp. trustee, during Wednesday’s groundbreaking ceremonies.
The project has been in the works for about 10 years, with first approvals coming in 2018. Changes in developers and other issues delayed the start of the project until this year.
