Doug Massey is the Owner and CEO of Mill Mechanical, Inc., an industrial machining and fabrication company serving the manufacturing and steel industries. Under Doug’s leadership, Mill Mechanical has developed into a fully integrated operation providing customers with machining, fabrication, large-equipment rebuilding, engineering, and drawing services.

Doug and the Mill Mechanical team bring a practical, problem-solving approach to some of industry’s most demanding equipment and production challenges. With extensive experience supporting steelmaking and heavy manufacturing operations, the company understands not only how components are designed and manufactured, but how they perform in real-world production environments. That experience allows Mill Mechanical to work closely with customers to develop solutions focused on precision, reliability, responsiveness, and minimizing costly downtime.

Most people would be surprised by the amount of time, precision, and craftsmanship required to build or rebuild large industrial equipment. These projects can involve multiple stages—from engineering and drawings to machining, fabrication, welding, precision fitting, assembly, and finishing.

Some of the components we work with are extremely large and heavy, but they still require very precise tolerances. Bringing all of those pieces together safely and accurately takes highly skilled people, specialized equipment, and significant coordination. What may look like one large piece of equipment is often the result of many carefully planned and executed steps.

We chose Butler County because of its strong and historic manufacturing base. This region has deep roots in steelmaking, machining, fabrication, and heavy industry, which closely aligns with the customers we serve and the work we do.
