‘It’s exciting to see': Company adding 100 jobs
thyssenkrupp BILSTEIN to add 100 jobs in Hamilton expansion
Hamilton-based thyssenkrupp BILSTEIN of America, Inc. is set to expand its operations in the city with a major hiring initiative and facility investment.
The automotive technology firm announced plans Monday, July 13, to hire around 100 new employees across multiple departments, adding to the more than 600 already employed at the site.
The expansion at 8685 Bilstein Blvd. comes as part of the integration of the steering business and reflects strong growth in North America, where thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology generated 2.1 billion euros, or nearly $2.4 billion in sales during fiscal year 2024/2025, the company said.
“Seeing thyssenkrupp BILSTEIN grow in Hamilton means more good-paying jobs, continued investment in our community and confidence in where our city is headed,” Hamilton Director of Economic Development Mallory Greenham told the Journal-News. “It’s exciting to see a long-time Hamilton employer continue building on its success, and we’re proud to support their growth every step of the way.”
