East Coast manufacturer to move HQ to Hamilton, create 230 jobs

A Massachusetts manufacturing firm with a national sales footprint plans to relocate its headquarters to a new facility employing hundreds in the Cincinnati region.
SencorpWhite, currently based on the Cape Cod peninsula in Hyannis, Mass., has leased an industrial property on Symmes Road in the City of Hamilton, taking occupancy Dec. 2, according to Corey Calla, president and CEO of SencorpWhite.
The company plans to create as many as 230 jobs at the site over the next seven years. The roles are expected to average $90,000 in annual pay and include roles in assembly, sales, field service, engineering and software development.
The Ohio Tax Credit Authority at its Dec. 12 meeting approved a 10-year, nearly 1.9% Job Creation Tax Credit for the hiring effort. The anticipated total value of the performance-based tax credit if all job-creation thresholds are met is $3.45 million, according to an Ohio Department of Development spokesperson.
