Hamilton’s City Manager Steps Away as He Takes on a Larger County Role

HAMILTON, Ohio — If there is one thing City Council firmly believes, it is that Joshua Smith made Hamilton, Ohio, a better place.
All seven Hamilton council members offered Smith thoughts of appreciation for his 13½ years with the city. He was hired in September 2010 away from the village of Howard, Wisconsin. He was 36 years old with a vision of doing great things for the city.
And from City Council’s viewpoint, he did just that.
