A 314-unit apartment community has been greenlit in Middletown, bringing a major development to the city's east side.
The Atticus received approval for its final plat during a Middletown City Council meeting July 21. It allows the developer to begin the permitting process leading to construction. The project will include nine new buildings on a 15-acre site at the northeast corner of Market and Union.
A previously submitted proposal stated the development could:
- Create 40 jobs post-completion
- Create 400 jobs during construction
- Bring more than 600 new residents to Middletown.
