Neyer Properties lands state financing for upgrades to Butler County industrial buildings

Neyer Properties is upgrading two industrial buildings in Monroe and has won state financing for the project.

The Ohio Air Quality Development Authority awarded $850,000 to Neyer for its project at 801 N. Garver Road.

The project includes interior lighting upgrades and efficiency improvements to the roofing system, including additional insulation and a new roof membrane, according to the state. The lighting will be converted from halide to LED, according to the company.

The buildings are both leased by Brendamour, a warehousing and distribution company.

The project is expected to reduce the amount of energy used, help manage long-term operating costs and maintain productive, modern industrial space for tenants.
