Manufacturer Miami Machine expands into third Tri-State facility to assemble larger industrial equipment

A recently acquired Butler County manufacturer is expanding into a third Tri-State facility.

Miami Machine Inc., a manufacturer of heavy-duty and specialty industrial equipment for paper mills, has taken over a facility at 605 Clark St. in Middletown.

The roughly 14,000-square-foot facility was previously home to MRT Partners, a former Miami Machine supplier. It will now be used as additional space to assemble larger-scale equipment and expand its roll service operations by increasing production capacity for customers in the paper, power, steel and original equipment manufacturing markets.

“Some of the equipment we manufacture is so large that we could not fully assemble certain machines in our existing buildings,” Ben Moore, CEO of Miami Machine, said in a news release. “This new space allows us to do that.”
