Vacant Towne Mall set for Revival as Middletown negotiates with National Developer

The 32-acre site that houses the largely vacant Towne Mall in Middletown is poised for redevelopment, and its upcoming transformation could turn the property into a vibrant mixed-use community with retail, food and beverage and entertainment options, officials said.
Jacob Schulte, Middletown program manager, said the city is currently engaged in pre-development agreement negotiations with national development firm Midland Atlantic Properties. He expects those negotiations to be completed in the next 30 days.
