Butler Tech breaks ground on region’s first aviation hangar school

One of the region’s most advanced high school aviation education programs will soon have its own classroom hangar in Middletown as Butler Tech joined city and county officials in breaking ground Thursday on a $15 million project.
The career school’s heralded and highly accredited aviation courses for area teens will be learning in its own, hybrid class facility and airplane hangar at the Middletown Regional Airport by January 2026.
