Butler County support to Miami University projects now at $20M

When the Butler County commissioners received a $75 million pandemic windfall from the federal government they wanted to invest in projects that would be “transformational” and a huge chunk of the money has gone to support two major developments at Miami University, the latest gift is $5 million in matching money for a state innovation grant.
The county, Butler Tech, the city of Hamilton and Miami University are partnering to create the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Development, Research, and Commercialization Hub in the Vora Technology Center — referred to as The Hub — on Knightsbridge Drive in Hamilton.
